Refurbishment of the laboratory near completion

Our laboratory space has been under renovation for the past few months. We anticipate that the refurbishment will be completed by the end of August 2025.

Previously designed for solid-state physics and material science research, the space has been repurposed to host our photonics laboratory. It has been a few months since the renovation work started, and we anticipate an end date in late August 2025. The future Laboratoire de Photonique Appliquée (Applied Photonics Laboratory) will host a range of activities focusing on photonic-enabled applications to: quantum sensing and imaging, environmental sensing, and secure communications.
